Buddy's Smoking Gun - Our Story
Buddy's Smoking Gun is South Florida’s first licensed FFL, Class 3 Dealer, and Premium Tobacconist all combined in one house, with over 40 years of experience in both.
It was founded by two friends sharing a mutual love for guns and cigars. One day, while enjoying a cigar, they came up with the idea to put their two loves together and open a shop that would be dedicated to fine cigars and guns. They wanted to build an experience where people could come and learn about firearms, firearm maintenance, and firearm protocol without prejudice and a place where, if one wanted to enjoy a fine cigar, they could come to "The Smoking Gun" and do that as well. Their goal would be to introduce, educate, and inform.
Taking their combined experience—one as a Marine Corps veteran and the other as a businessman in the fine cigar industry— they formed a company called Veterans of Tobacco Inc. and opened Buddy's Smoking Gun in Davie, Florida.
At Buddy's you can find popular gun brands such as Glock, Smith & Wesson, Colt, Ruger, Heckler & Koch, and Mossberg, among others. We have both vintage and modern firearms, military collectables, and plenty of options for your hunting, sporting, and/or personal defense needs. We carry every caliber of ammo, as well as accessories and scopes for everything.

We also have a boutique line of cigars and accessories called True Believer. The line evokes the owners' passion for the finer things in life and their "no compromise, work hard, play harder" attitude.
