The Egyptian Hakim Rifle chambered in 7.92x57mm (8mm Mauser) was produced in the 1950s and 60s in Egypt and is designated as a Curio and Relic or C&R firearm by the ATF.

It is a gas operated semi-automatic rifle originally designed by Sweden and produced for the Swedish Army as the Automatgevär m/42 (called AG-42 or Ljungman outside of Sweden).

The shortened carbine version of this rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm was manufactured in limited numbers in Egypt and was called the Rasheed Carbine.
